I have the poem framed on my computer desk and have had the poem since 2003. It was given to us with the ashes of our first shepherd. It just says Anonymous.....
but each time I read it I cry but they are not unappy tears but rather tears of joy in haing been a part of their very soul and knowing that the soul lives on forver, is so deeply comforting.

Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond in the snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn's rain.
I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am NOT there. I DID NOT die.
May this bring comfort to those who may have thought they lost a loved one. May their spirits touch every soul and live on forever.
