For a Autoflower or 12/12 grow?

High Everybody,

I have been growing in small spaces since the beginning and I am getting better and better now.
At this moment, I have an Auto-grow in the works (24 days and second day of flower today, see pic]).

They are really easy to grow, my last one gave me a decent result (see my journal ---> https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/428484-diesel-ryder-jock-horror-grow.html).

However, the auto strains are limited when you compare to the regular ones and I would like to try other strains (most particularly Querkle, G13 Haze, Lemon Skunk and Jack Herer...).

So I have been thinking, maybe growing a regular plant on 12/12 in a party cup could give me a comparable amount of pot ?
My goal would be to keep the plant fairly small in height...

What do you think?

Now, please, I am not a grower with big space, big lights and shit so don't come here on a "this is a waste of time bla bla bla". Some of us have to go "Solid snake" when it comes to growing...:joint::joint:

Depending if you have the space setup 1 flowering space and 1 veg/cloning space even if you have a few small plants that you take a clone off the top and take the fresh clone get it rooted and take the plant you cloned and put it into flowering. You don't need tall clones to start flowering and you can keep a constant plants in veg to even in small spaces.

If you want you could go a DWC or RDWC setup for cuttings for the flowering stage. But imo if you don't ave space for that I would do regular seeds bacause autos may be nice but when you have to do stuff to them you can't veg them and the best thing with doing regulars is that if you collect pollen from male plants you can make a batch of seeds.

If you want better help you have to tell us how much height, width and depth you have for your grow space because with out that info its hard to help you for what could work for you.

My grow space is really small : L=5'2 (160cm) W=10"(25cm!!!!) H=30" (77cm). Despite the width being very short, it hasn't been a problem so far.
I also plan on using only CFLs (heat issue) and I also arrange air ventilation.

I'd like to work with a DWC system but soil is easier to control the size of the plant. My current autos are in 1L air pots and doing fine (with orgnic nutes).
But on 12/12, using chemical nutes will give better results.
