Foliar Feeding With Lights On?

Why do people say you can't foliar feed w/ the lights on? It's just a forum myth that this will cause burning from the "rain drops" magnifying the light right? Or does this only happen with bad air circulation where the drops sit there for hours?

Disregarding the fact that they can absorb more through foliage during the dark period due to the stomata being opened up more - it really is ok to foliar feed during the lights on period right?

I've got a confession...Dear CannaJesus: I've been lightly foliar feeding 1/8th strength nutes on my less than 2 week old plants 1-2 times a day the past 5 days w/ 600w MH on 21 hours a day n don't see anything wrong...maybe my untrained eyes are missing something? I know my 'canopy' temp is higher than it should be at this fragile stage in their life - yet they seem to be fine w/ the frequent misting of light nutes and neem oil...They seem to perk up a lot more about 10-15 minutes after spraying them down n seem to have really taken off since I started doing this...growth was really slow before I started this spraying routine but I'm not sure if it's just a placebo effect or not lol...

I'm real careful not to get the lights - been raising them an extra foot n half to spray then bringing back down :P

Well then, carry on! It's the spraying of the underside that gets tricky. Any foliar spray with an oil in it SHOULD still be avoided with lights on because that is more prone to burning.

Haven't quite mastered that technique yet lol. Holding up each leaf individually to spray the bottoms is gonna become a lot more tedious veeeery soon.
