Hi guys, iv had alook around but I can't find the info I'm after, I already had some good advice, but wot I wanna know is if I flush my pots say every 4 weeks to get rid of excess salts, won't my soil be water logged? Iv only got seedlings, so they won't be able to use up all the moisture very quickly, they are in 9inch pots, is there a way to dry them out a bit after flushing? thanks.
 
If they're seedlings then they shouldn't need flushing unless you overfed them. Seedlings shouldn't need food in the first place anyway. Am I missing something here?

As far as flushing plants in general, overwatering is from frequency, not quantity.
 
Ok thanks, when I say seedlings they are 8 weeks old, they didn't grow very much in the beginning cause I read most soil already has enough nutes in it, well mine didn't, so I started to feed 1/4 strength nutes for the last 3 weeks and they've taken off now, I was more concerned about the soils ph, that's why I wanted to flush the soil, but thanks cause really u answered my question for me
 
Why do you want to flush just because you're "concerned"...flushing isn't a cure-all.......just grow some patience along with the weed, works very well.
 
Old reefer, patience, not a problem I am a fisherman! I'm merely going on the advice of other members, I didn't even consider it till I was advised i should do it, I don't mean flushing the plants I meant the soil this is my first grow so just tryin to get it right, if Im not 'concerned' about stuff then there's a good chance I'll fk it up. But thanks for the input anyway

wow oldreefer not sure what crawled up you ass but chilllll jeez smoke a doobie or something friend. You sound a little stress calm down friend hes new to the forum as he said and is asking a very simple question would have been a LOT simpler and less time consuming if you answered it you do know that right?.. Its a forum after all posting question it kinda the point of it ya know :)

Anyways just put a fan to blow on the soil shouldn't take longer then 2-3 days to dry up unless your using 5-10 gallon pots little longer then. But you'll be fine.

Sutra grow, thanks Alot! I thought it was a bit harsh, sometimes u can't find the answers u want, that's why I ask, it would. Take me days to filter through all the threads, when I could just ask the people who know, like u said, isn't that wot forums are about! Anyway thank again for stiking up fpr the noobs!!
