Flushing Technique

Don't need to now, but probably will--flushing. I've read two gallons of water per gallon of soil. What do you do, put the pot in the shower? How do you deal with run-off? If you have four containers with four gallons of soil each, that's . . . 32 gallons of water, ph'ed. How do you manage such volume? What, do you ph a drum? Generally, how long before you start watering again after the bath?

Also, as long as I've got your attention. I have a pretty tight 3 X 5 X 5 cabinet lit by a 400 w MH conversion bulb (at the moment; I'll switch to HPS later). The temp is stable at 81.5 using a 80 CFM inline duct fan. When the time is ripe (along with big buds, hopefully), I'll need to filter the air. I plan to use the design illustrated in the noob FAQ, the one that uses the carbon, wrap around, Honeywell filter. If I connect the filter to the vent (still using the 80 CFM), will I be able to keep the temp. within the guidelines.

Thanks much.

you flush them with ph'd water, i use mineral water. 75p for 1 gallon flush them let the run off go down the plughole. you should'nt need to water for a week after that.

the temp might go up a little bit if your at 81.5 now that might be a little to much. you could make your intake a littl bigger or add another fan for the intake that would help alot.
