the key to flushing is to know what flushign does. what it does is push water through your soil. when water is in something(soil, container, etc) there is obviously less air. without air plants die, and cause anaerobic bacteria to thrive and kill your roots. with this knowledge that you have now learned it is important to know how to apply it. the key is flush when the soil is dry. completely dry. this may take a day or 2 days depending on if its your first flush or not. to flush, take a container thats 3 times the size of the plant and fill with water, pour on plant over sink evenly and not too fast. once again make sure you wait at least a day but its probably safer to flush at 2 days or more(or more is even better) if your plants are drooping it isnt a good idea to flush(unless its underwatered) in conclusion give your plant enough time for the soil to dry completely till you flush again. watering should not be necessary if you are flushing.
