flushing question

Ok, so i know that before you harvest you should flush your plant with just water for a week or two. I have been using Fox Farm Big Bloom for a little while and notice Fox farm says to use big bloom up to the day of harvest for ideal taste. Does anyone have experience with this? thanks for hte help

Flushing
The whole reason behind flushing a plant is to get rid of all the built up salts that have been depositing in the soil from your ferts. You should flush plants at least once every 2 months, and the last being 2 weeks before harvest. If you don’t flush during veg there is a great possibility (especially if you veg you plant for a while) that the salts will build up and cause nutrient/ph lockout. This is when there is so much salts from not flushing in the soil that the plant can’t take up anymore nutrients and it will start to seriously decline in health. Some people flush every month and the greenhouse seeds guys which have won over 30 cannabis cups flush every 10 days!!! Hope this was informative.

thanks, it does help a little but im still curious if ishould continue feeding big bloom up until the day of harvest or if i should stop 2 weeks before. i know that usually one would discontinue use 2 weeks before or go with what hte bottle says and use it up until the day of harvest

If you dont want to taste chemicals, you have to flush it, the bottle isnt telling you how to grow cannabis with it just plants in general. Cannabis needs to be flushed to have a good smoke.

thats kinda what i was thinking. Do you flush with straight water? i would really like to hear from someone that has experience with big bloom.

I flush with water, but some people use stage 3 nutes that is usually made by the people you get the veg n bud nutes from. i never tried em though.

yesssss. no more plants. the rents found them. fuckin bad luck lol. i was almost all done. hey mrfishy im from MT too. down in the missoula area
