flushing between veg and flower

Hey
So Im 10 days into flower and I am planning on switching from veg nutes to flower nutes. I have been reading that its a good idea to flush between veg and flower. I like to wait for my soil to dry out after I water and its been taking about 4-5 days...I feel like it cant be a good idea to flush and then not add any nutrients for 5 days especially since my soil isnt fertilized. Should I flush and then add the nutes right away or should I just skip the flush and go straight to flower nutes?

IMO: skip the flush and go straight to flower nutes

So do you think I shouldn't flush at all during flower?
flushing is such as controversial subject, as some believe in it and others don't.

there are several threads on the subject, most end up as a holy pissing match with no clear conclusions.

so maybe do your own side by side, and flush one and not the other

personally I do not flush

Ok. I think I'll just do without the flushing then. I like to let my tap water sit for a couple of days before using it and I would need half a swiming pool to store enough of it to give all my plants a decent flush since ur supposed to use a couple times as much water as the volume of the container.

Exactly. IMO the only reason to flush during flower is if you are pushing them real hard or are having lockup issues due to toxicity. Flush at the end and you should be fine.

during the first 2 or so weeks of flower, the plants probably do their most green growth, meaning the stretch phase, in which a higher nitrogen fertilizer would be beneficial imvho, so i really don't know why anyone would want to flush the veg nutes in this time period..
my $.02

Definitely skip the flush. Flowering plants need nitrogen too, especially during the stretch early in flower when they go through a burst of vegative growth. Depriving a plant of nitrogen at this stage will just hurt your final yields. A lot of feeding charts recommend using both veg and flowering ferts in early flowering, for this very reason.
