Flushing 4 10gal pots

So if I do the math I'll need about 80gal of water. Now I have an RO filter but this will take like 12 hours or more, would it be unthinkable to run 40gal tap let it sit 24 hours and then cut it with 40gal RO?

The biggest issue I have a birthday to go tomorrow and time will be a problem as for the moment I will be using 5gal buckets and swapping them as they fill will not be possible.

(I plan to check the hardware store for bigger buckets tonight)

Timing is so critical a birthday party is a consideration? Wait a day or 2. I know I don't know your schedule but screwing your grow up? C'mon.

Ah I should add because of my setup I need an assistant to move the plants into position to drain, there is only 1person that knows what I'm doing and he'll be out of town Sunday on.

The next grow I plan to change things such that I don't have to even move the pots. (they are in scrog)

A scrog grow with 10-gallon pots? I'd like to see that.

I know the book says use 2 gallons flush for each gallon of pot size, but c'mon....
If you do have to do it now (I'd wait) set a pot on top of a drain and pour 10
gallons of water through her. If you can find 4 drains you can flood them all
at once and walk away in 20 minutes. Probably get 2 or 3 just in the bathtub alone.
Set them on a grill of some kind so the drain holes are above the drain itself.

BigSteve.
