using only water, no nutes or anything to water the plant. This cleans out all the nutrients added if you get nute burn.

flushing is to rid your soil of unused nutrients,ppl normally do it 2 weeks before harvest!you basically water your plants with pure water 3 times what your pot capacity is,so 5litres=15 litres of water!some ppl flush before then if there plants gets severe nute burn etc.
