Fluorescent light start to finish ?

Has anyone used the Stealth Hydro Dual Spectrum lights from start to finish as in flowering ?

No, but you can grow bud with cfl's. just not as much quality, quanity, or speed. I think its beter for all beginers to use this light all the way through for few grows and then work their way up. Its like tanning in a tanning bed. Start slow. And you will be more amazed and excited everytime you throw something else in the mix. Lights, fert, Co2 exc.

Thanks, iv grown bud out doors before they got to 6' then rabbits and horses got them when i was gone... all i can say those rabbits are probably still stoned

i disagree. cfls are a pain in the ass from start to finish i say do it the right way the first time and save time and money in the long run... but back to the point. i think you could definatly grow with floros the whole way through. but you will need alot more of the same light to sustain the buds in flowering. for example:if you were using your stealth hydro dual spectrum fixture and bulbs to vegg your plants you would need atleast three times the lumen output that you were using in veggitative growth to switch to flowering.. even after all that, you would still probably yield similar results as if you were flowering with cfls . some people on here have managed to grow sick ass buds with the right spectrum cfls and a little know how though....so its all what makes you feel comfortable!!! plus you have experience as an outdoor grower.. your going to appreciate the light that the HID gives off compared to any floro!

Well i grew my first crop under cfls until i sold 2 of 3 ounces and bought a hps. Then sold 3 more ounces once i yeilded 4 the next grow, and bought a mh light, a ppm meter, ph meter, better medium and fert. And then finally a month later i just went out and bought an exhaust system.

Im just sayin that i started that way and im glad i did. I woulda gone crazy tryin to do all that shit the first time.

yeah i hear ya.. but lets face it most newbies that start off with cfls dont make it as far as you did. they see the results (or lack there of) and call it quits. when you go in head first and poor a whole bunch of money,blood,sweat,and tears into the grow than you are way more likley to have a succesfull grow and future grows..

listen to em laddies, hes kinda right dont cha know?

Thats the whole thing i only have the money to buy the system right now.. but i know i need to invest in some MH and HPS but those are expensive for me to afford right now but i plan to buy a few more cfl's in the meanwhile untill i can get some HID's..and on top of that i need SEEDS and im stuck over which to buy and who to buy from there so many strains all i want is the most potent.. i guess most people do... if anyone has HID's for sell let me know !

Get as far as i did, i thought i wasnt goin no where for a while. Took like 5 tries to even see gender in a plant. hhaaahaha, It was hard shit!
