Fluorescent Light Question

Alright ladies and gentlemen, big question here but it is imperative I know because I would like to order soon and get my grow op going and there is no one better to ask than the RollItUp Community. I would like to veg 2 rows of 4-5 plants in each (8-10 plants total) underneath two Hydrofarm 4ft fluorescent fixtures containing two Sunblaster T5 Bulbs with an output of 6500K and 54 watts each (So two fixtures with two bulbs in each fixture). Although, the bulbs read, "These lamps require a special T5 Fixture and can not be used in standard fluorescent fixtures." So I was wondering if the fixture listed above could do the trick or if someone could point me in the right direction to a better fixture that can use the bulb listed above, or a better bulb that will fit in the fixture listed above. I was also wondering if a ballast was needed to plug a fluorescent fixture into, or if I can plug the fluorescent fixture straight into a outlet strip or surge protector (whatever you call them). An infinite amount of gratitude and praise to whomsoever finds it fit to help a newbie grower get on his feet. Thanks.

As far as i am aware any fixture/ballast will be ok so long as it is good for 54 watts and over. Also check the contact pins will fit the fixture u choose. The ignition gear for flouresent lighting is the same ballest etc so its bollocks that u need to use their gear....just a money spinner m8. Just check the connectin pins at the end of the lamps

if you are buying a light from hydro farm it should have a ballast in it already but here is a link to there contact page so you can ask for yourself. Hydrofarm - Contact Us worse comes to worse and it doesn't go to your local big box home improvement store with the bulbs and tell them what you want to do and they can tell you what you have to buy. You don't have to tell them what you are growing or that you are growing they don't need to know what is up they just need to know what you want.
