Fluffy Vs. Dense

Someone mentioned that CFL's don't provide the right light to yield dense weed. That CFL's give you fluffy buds. And only better lighting would yield dense bud.

I don't see anything wrong with fluffy weed. I think it grinds better and burns better.

But I am a little worried that I'm never going to see real dense colas with the CFL's.

Anyone got some input from experience on this one?

I'm baked on fluffy AK47 CFL weed right now and It's pretty good keeps me in the zone for about 4 hours.
 
What dense means at the end of your grow is that you'll yield more weight. I just grew out 3 ladies outside this summer that yielded 45.5 ounces. After it was dried and cured (still curing by the way) it's some nice fluffy bud that stones the hell out of me. But with most indoor growers we want to strive for dense buds which equals more weight at the end of the grow. We're not looking for fluffy airy buds, We want the most we can get for the time and trouble of all our efforts we put into the final product.

In conclusion, I don't know why my outdoor buds turned out fluffy but at the end of the day I don't care as long as it gets me stoned.

As for my indoor, my buds are always dense and I strive for nothing less even though there may not be a difference in potency between the two.

I'm high as kite right now, so I hope I made some sense out of my ramblings.

do u use cfls for youe indoor ?
 
I grew these with cfls. They were rock hard dense

the first 3 pics are after dry/some cure, last 2 are right before and right after chop
