Flowering w/o dark cycle?

I was running a 18/6 light cycle, my timer went belly up so I just left the lights on. This was a couple weeks ago and now it looks like I've got some white hair pre-flowers. This is my mother plant so obviously I don't want it to flower. Is it possible that somehow the plant has begun to flower? One plant under 2 4' T5's (6500K). I can post some pics later. Thanks

pre flowers will show up without 12/12 on most strains eventually.

This plant isn't more than a month old. Do pre-flowers always turn into buds? I double checked the plant and there are a couple white hairs around new growth sites but pre-flower may be too strong of a word.

that's pretty young indeed, probably just part of the plant structure then.
