usually people trim the lower branches so that there is better air flow and if their plants are a bit taller. I would say yours being that short you wouldn't have too but I guess its all preference

WTF was I thinking? I was thinking FIM & Topping is what you were doing.
I know you said LST but I was thinking bout something else while I was typing that. Lol!
LST is fine during veg and flower. But for max penetration I would get more CFLs or invest in MH/HPS

You could trim some fan leaves also to open up light for inner growth. Just don't go crazy with it.
Only trim the ones that will benefit you. Bend the others out of the way.

thanks for the good info Blu. Im actually waiting on a 250w hps to be delivered sometime this week..you think a 250w hps ,5 23w cfls, and 2 40w cfls are overkill for 1 plant lol

I don't think you can overkill on light. As long as you can maintain the proper temps and humidity then you will be fine.
I just don't like having more than one plug for lighting. Fire hazard!

it is a foot!actually about 14..its tied down so its sort of like a "C" shape around the growbag and than i tied the shoots down so light 'll penetrate better, its just that idk what to do with the leafs and little shoots on the underside of the bend,my theory was they'd even out with the canopy while searching for light, but than again im still a little new at this
