Flowering Plant, never used nutes would turf king 12-12-12-work?

so i started a plant in my closet like two months ago, due too light issues it took along time to grow, currently i have four 23w cfl's litterally on my plant and she finally started flowering or showing many of her true leaves. now ive never used nutes on her and only used tap water. the leaves are kinda crisp and under the light yellowish, the stem is and has been purpleish green. its about a foot tall and she has about five nodes or 5 sets of branches and more leaves are coming out of those. would it be safe to use fert king complete fert 12-12-12 on my plant?

i know i need to feed the plant and i have some 12-12-12 in the garage but would it work? how much to use the first time? and how often?

Yes. Give your plant some of it immediately. It sounds like they are hungry. Just follow the directions on the container.
