Flowering Phase Two

I don't know if it happens to just me and the people I might know who also grow...

But how come no one on here really talks about this second phase of flowering? Near the end where it seems like the buds really puff up. It seems like the last week or two there is this period where the buds take you from thinking, "damn I wish this was more dense" to "ahhh here it comes".

Just wondering when people always ask when to harvest I always see check the trichs / hairs.. That is the best way but for those without a scope to inspect these things perhaps you can just go by this great jump in growth?

why guess after all the time and money invested when you can get a scope from radio shack for $20. my plants have had several different growth spurts and i would hate to miss my harvesting window because of a guess.

Yeah I hear that. I agree buy a scope for the few dollars they cost.
