flowering nutes

when should i switch over to flowering nutes, when i go 12/12, should i do a water change before i start giving them flowering nutes

I keep giving them veg nutes for the first week of flower..but I add flower nutes to them..then I leach them and start on the flower nutes

im still kinda new, what does leaching mean, is that like flushing

yes...but I just put them in the tub and run 5 times the amount of water through them till it pours out of the bottom of the pot..like this..

im using a dwc setup, should i still flush them

I would...for a day or 2 maybe...but you dont have to with hydro...not really any salt build up..but it could help.
