Okay i just bought some Expert Garden All Purpose Flowering Plant Food and was wondering if i could put it on my plants without a problem, they are in the flowering stage. any suggestions?

what do you mean? it says all purpose? but im wondering if i can mix the solution with water instead of hooking up my hose and spraying it?

The product you're using was designed as an all purpose for ACTUAL typical houseplant that are very low maintainence in comparison to cannabis. This allows them lots of room to play with in designing formulas, and typically just create a slow release with a bit of everything. I wouldn't be suprised if you have a 10-10-10 or something. This IS NOT ideal for cannabis. If you want to get the absolute best bud out of your plants, you should highly consider making a trip to a hydro shop and purchasing nutrients that are specifically designed for cannabis. A macro flowering formula would be a great start, following with some other flower boosters/addatives, molasses for carbos, you can use epsom salts for magnesium. Do some research on here and read about FLUSHING YOUR PLANTS in the final week or two of your cycle. This is the only way you will achieve full flavor, quality smoke. Bud that isn't flushed will taste harsh, be hard to light, and will burn to black ash, not grey like bud with little to no salts will.
Just a brief synopsis of some things you should be considering. Prob a lot to take in for one paragraph, but I guess the best advice I can give you is learn! Study growing from all angles! And continue to ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS!
Hope you have some extra $$$ to throw at this, as you will be very impressed with the improved results if you invest a little bit into proper nutes & equipment.

they sound right on, Maxsea Bloom is under 50 bucks, all organic and complete. You'll get a better harvest now and add others later with experience to really get good buds. Good luck!

And just in case FYI. they have nutes 4 veg and 4 bloom. they need totally different things.

Yes, it sounds like you're unaware of the meaning of the NPK values of nutrients. Def do some research on that topic and learn the actual structure and basis that these nutrients are derived from. When you start understanding the various organic & synthetic ingredients used for growing cannabis, as well as what exactly is in them, you can then take things to the next level and experiment with different products until you find a combination & schedule that works best for you. There are so many growing methods out there, as well as hundreds of hybrids, all of which will require slightly different care. This can be tricky at first to get down, and at times can even be disappointing at times when you don't grow the quality bud that you were hoping for. It's learning from those mistakes that will help you cross the abyss into a whole new level of growing!

i know that there are different fertilizers for different things because ive used them before, such as gravity, snow storm and many others, right now i just dont have the cash for 40 and 50 dollar small bottles.

If you run to Home Depot they actually have some great options in their garden center. I use their Alaska Organics Liquid Fish Emulsion (5-1-1) which is an absolutely great product for VEG. Very potent and will last a while. I think that runs $11 for a gallon? They also have some slow release powders and pellets that you could look at. Miracle Grow has improved their line by offering Organic Blood Meal (12-0-0) & Bone Meal (5-6-2, i think?). These smaller bags will run you $5-6 a bag. Or, I purchase larger bags of bone meal made by Lilly Miller. Those are 15 lbs or so for $17. Espoma Organics is usually carried in all their garden centers. The Organic Garden Lime pellets are great for soil PH buffers, cal-mag source, ... and they also offer a soil acidifier pellet product incase you have high alkalinity. I've used Superthrive back in the day when I was starting out, but that is potent shit so if you use it, I wouldn't go too crazy with it.
I'm an organic grower, so I would say if you want to find some really quality & rich sources, stop by a nursery that carries a good selection of feeds. Here, you should be able to find various bat guanos (mexican, jamaican, ...), seabird guano, fish emulsions, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, seaweed extract, sunflower meal, and many more that I can't even think of right now. These are all base ingredients that will build your more expensive liquid nutes in the first place, so if you're not looking to spend cash on the broken down liquids, these are still great inexpensive products on their own and are great for low maintainence feeding.

Wow you really know your stuff. But i have another question. My plants just went into flowering about 3 days ago, what would you recommend me do at this point? what should i add and when?

That's good to hear! So much great info out there. Def make an effort to visit all the nutrient suppliers websites, like Advanced Nutrients, Botanicare, Humbolt, Dutch Master, Roots Organics by Aurora, ... just to name a few and get aquainted. There's always scientists with PHD's working to make the nutes available to cannabis growers that much better, so always stay up with what's within your grasp. Check out seed banks and get familiar with all the strains and characteristics they bring. Learn more about Sativas & Indicas. THC, CBN, CBD, and all the many of 400 different cannabinoids in weed that gets you high. It's actually quite the complex combination that builds all the diff highs you get from various strains. Quite interesting! I could keep going on, n on. So keep diving in and keep us posted if you have any more questions! For cannabis, that is not enough potassium for the bloom phase. The phosphorus is most important of the 3 for bud development, but the potassium levels should be trailing the phos levels by very little. Anytime you have the nitrogen levels higher than potassium in a bloom formula, VERY good chance it's not the most ideal choice. I use an organic bloom tea rated @ 3-5-4. At your more concentrated levels, that'd be about 12-20-16. You're looking @ 12-55-6. See where you're off on the charts? The N has much less value during flower than it did in veg, and it should be given in smaller doses than before anyway. Making sure you are not defecient in your PK levels during flowering is very important for proper development!
Don't forget to use Organic Molasses and/or Liquid Carbo solutions to feed your ladies and help give them the energy they need to produce large, crystal coated flowers.
And NEVER make the mistake of skipping a nutrient flush before you pull your crop, or you WILL NOT achieve the flavor you have been spending months of time, money, & effort on to produce. Do this by moving your potted plants to a patio, sink, bathtub, ... and continuously run filtered water thru your soil for about 5-10 minutes, pending on how many gallons of soil you are flushing. The point of this is to remove all built up nutrients, salts, & impurities that were not used during the first 6-7 weeks of flowering. By flushing all this extra waste out, your plants will now be forced to feed from their leaves and energy stores to finish producing big buds & more trichomes. In the process, your plant ends up feeding on the last of all those bad chemicals that if left in your bud will give you terrible flavor! Trust me, first time around it's hard going from feeding your plants more & more at the end to just stopping. You may think by doing so you're hurting or hindering it's abilities. Remember, it'll only help it! You're doing the plant, and yourself a favor. So everyone, flush your plants, and enjoy the easily improved benefits! =)
