Flowering lights on 24/7

been reading info on this site for over a year now, i've got a problem where i need some of you advice

i'm six weeks into flowering with white widow, plants were looking good with plenty of buds, but lately the 4 plants have been getting really leafy, thick leafy, at the top, then discovered my light timer had stopped working so the plants had been getting light 24 hours a day, i'm not sure how long this has gone one for

so i kinda don't know what do to, any advice would be appreciated
 
Now, i would just switch them back to 12/12 again... and hope for the best.

This advice is good advice if you want to definitely keep your weed.:mrgreen:

I've always wondered though if there's a certain point that flowering is too late to stop, even if you put them on 24/0...

Never had the courage, or real inclination to check it out.:mrgreen:

yep - i've heard it recommended to go into flower to determine sex and then revert back to veg before taking clones. i don't have the cahones.
 
top 6 inches of all plants look like they've been through veg stage, thick bushy leaves. Bottom 30 inches are mostly bud with a few fan leaves

hopefully the top will flower, anyone know if there's any risk of the top becoming male?? that'd be a fecking disaster
 
There's always a risk of the plant turning hermie, and the further she gets into flower without this happening, the easier it is to happen.

Messing up the lights in flower is a serious business. If you do it early, you'll just stunt the flowering period, and it starts all over again... do it late, and you have a chance of them hermying, particularly as you left them for so long.

Like I say, there's always a risk... you've just increased the odds.
