i only flower 1 somtimes 2 plants at a time, i cant aford HPS so im useing cfl's. how many would you say to use for 1 flowering plant ? im useing 4, 2-28w 2-40w

i got 6 20w cfl's on my vegies, my flower room is only like 3x3x6. i have the 4 in it, 5 small plants are veging under the 6 cfl's atm

A 250 watt HID is perfect for one or a few small plants. Is it really cheaper to do it with CFL's? Compacts cost money too, especially if not purchased as a multi-pack or something. They also cost money in electricity though and are less efficient than an HID light is. I suppose if there were other extenuating circumstances (extreme heat issues, poor venting ability, limited space, etc.) CFLs would be ideal, otherwise an HID is really the best option.

yes i agree. i have savere heat issues. its in a loft, waterheater vent runs through so it brings more heat. so im useing cfl's. was just wondering how many to use and for what number of plans, oh oh oh i left my door open on my flowring room, i kno light got in, ya think shes ok ?

The more light you can give her the better and the bigger the wattage of each bulb the better as well.

Sounds like you already ahve the advice you need. I think you need to save up for HPS though. Much better results.
