So these are believed to be chemdog seeds, and all 2 are FEMALES ! woot woot! I've been told I have a green thumb as well.

Setup

2 x Chemdog 91 I believe.
6x23w((120 watt actual output,) 1,700 lumens output)
3x2x5'4 tent

Ingredients used :

Veg : Jobes Tomato spikes (has NPK (minimal though) ;] )

Flower : FoxFarm Tiger Bloom

Veg Time : 1 month 2 days Ended on 10/07

Started 12/12 on 10/08

Oh, and I have one other female under my sink doing an experiment on conditions. Started flowering at same time.(just dont have the room :[ )

Using 2 (1,500 lumens) for the under sink girl.

Also I haven't switched my bulbs, so they are still 5500K, but seem to be working fine. I've actually heard 2700 not producing results people want?(is this true)

hell yea nice she looks great!:leaf::leaf: my plant was just like that 3/4 weeks ago check out my thread and tell me what u think

Chemdog is a great strain some of my favorite :D

Holy cow!!! So my lady is looking fan-freakin-awesome!! I have counted 17 budsites so far! jeeshus, I dont even know if my lights will be able to support all 17 of them :/

So the way I did it is, I took some pics and then zoomed in on some areas to show detail. I am so excited!

Mami makes papa proud haha!

Here's the pics ya'll have been itching to see :p

P.S. Am I the only one that talks to my babies, and give them encouraging words :p ? I'd think not, but just wondering.

AWSOME PICS MAN ;D and talking to them is good they like it ;D

just picked up four more 23w 2700 (1,600 lumens each) bulbs, gonna switch soon. OR maybe I'll have both existing 5,500K's and add in either 2 or 4 2700's not sure, cause more lights = more heat. But these ones dont seem to get too hot :]

Its best if you have more red/orange specs than blue specs. And 42 watters are really great for your grow. There red/orange specs, cost effecient, and a good lumen output. Do you have an exhaust fan sucking hot air out?

I currently dont have a fan sucking anything out :x but I have a fan blowing in cool air, and a exhaust spot open for air to come out, but no actual fan.
SO its about 2 weeks and 5 days flowering now. I picked up some 2700 w bulbs, 23w each ( :X ) it'll have to do for now. I mean the 5500s are flowering them, so hopefully these improve it. I've been using tiger bloom as well.

ANd here's the pics!!

Also I've been misting the buds like once every few days, i notice they soak it up within 5-10 mins since the fans in there, does this damage the goods at all?

Ya I'll have to see about the 42 watters. I am not sure where to get a fixture for it. With those current Y connectors I have would it be possible to put two 42ws, or just one?

Get some reflectors. Put the red/orange specs on top and the blue on the sides, or mixem up all around. 42 watters are a lil bigger, but should fit your setup. And yes you can put two on a y connector. Im using two inside a reflector in my grow box.

you can put the biggest watt bulb you can fit into the sockets as long as its a medium based socket. if its a mogul based ( larger thread on bulb ) then you can get an adapter. with cfl's you shouldnt have to worry about power consumption, and if you are just remember this: watts/power = amperage ie. 23w bulb / 110v outlet = 0.2 amps so you would need roughly 75 23watt bulbs running off the same powersource before you had any issues.... this formula is just a rough estimate that you can safely go by.

just remember that the 42 watt bulbs are about 1.5 inches longer than the 23 watt. and when you do the math in the long run the 23w bulbs are cheaper. 4 pack of 23w bulbs @ lowes is $10, 1 42w bulb @ lowes is $8..... even when you factor in all the extras; sockets, wire, powerstrip etc.

im a first time cfl user ( have always used hid's ) and your grow gives me hope. especially since you're using the 23watt bulbs and what looks like only 6 of them. I have 13 right now and set up to add another 8 as the plant grows.

good luck with it all.

Hello everyone! Sorry its been a minute(days) since I last posted. These ladies are lookin greater by the day! You can notice the trichs on the leafs if you look closeley, its gettin frosty up in here!

d r0ck thanks alot man!!

Although I don't know if this thread will be in here any longer as I am getting a 150hps!(disqualify from CFL thread?) I just really want this crop to be something special and want to give it the best I can. And have been doing alot of talking with some experienced growers and they're all nudging me to do hps so I am gonna give it a go.. Plus I want some dense dank buds :}

Here's the pics.

Oh and question, If you'll notice (on the first pic) the leaf has browned spots.. I attribute this to over nuting.. Am i Correct? I kind of fed it heavily with tiger bloom, and have been using 1.5l bottle of water mixed with 2 tsp. instead of the gallon mixed with 2 tsp. but am giving only water for next few feedings.

:D Thanks guys for your feed back!
