Flowering: Blue vs Red

I know blue is for vegitative... This I know.


But what if you were to Flower with the blue bulbs? Or at least for the first two weeks use blue rather than red


What would happen?

No, you will not get dense buds with just blue light. If you are going to use CFLs for flowering at least get a 3000k light which is closer to red spectrum(daylight). 40 Acres uses a metal halide bulb which is a high intensity discharge light. It's expensive and puts out more heat then CFLs.
 
Yeah im restricted to a closet with NO ventilation..

I wouldnt want the light peeling the paint off the walls as well as killing my plants..





I was just wonering cause I was reading See More Buds book, and he didnt specify whether he switched his lights to red spectrum when he forced them into flowering at day 16.


I just assumed you might be able to do the job with the blues..
