Flower week counting

Hey just wondering when do you guys start counting your weeks, is it when you switch to 12/12 or is it after that 1st week when you are still using veg nutes.
 
the same.
it irritats the ever living fuck out of me when people count days flowering from the time sex is visible.
there just trying to make themselves sound like the shit, so they can say they have a 20g cola in 3 weeks... when it actually took closer to 5 weeks

lol . . .dude that is so funny because this time around i said that i would start my count in the second week, so around week 3 I was like DAMNNNN this shit is looking so good at 3 weeks. But really like you said it realy took closer to 4 5 weeks!
 
There is a difference between growing from seed and from clone. When growing from seed, it takes roughly a week to 10 days or so of 12/12 for your plant to actually be in flower. Clones get down to the business of flowing much faster, for me they are in flower in just a few days after the switch to 12/12.
 
Ok so you got a 8 week strain 8 weeks in 12/12 and it's done. Wrong. It is if you like weak premature weed. A 8 week strain needs 10 weeks in 12/12 to be it's best. Maybe 9.5 if you like heady high. That's my 2cents. Yes clones do flower quicker. Go 9 weeks with clones on 8 week strain.
