Flower W/ T5s to slow strech then go to HPS???

Can I use T5s to start flower then after the first few weeks switch to HPS?? I hope this wont pose a problem because im already doing this... reason being is for the previous mentioned slowed stretch as well as my only HPS is currently in use with no more room underneath until harvest.

Ive tried it with 2 plants and it really worked well to slow the stretch compaired to the same strain going right under a hps. I left them under the t5 for the first two weeks of 12/12 until I started to see tiny buds forming.
