Floro fell!

Ok so I just opened up my little stealth box so i could unplug the fluorescent light to find that my rig which held up the light fell and the light was sitting directly on top of my poor little sprout. I'm not sure if I'll be able to save the plants since I'm not sure how long the light has been sitting on top of it frying the hell out of it. It was a 42 watt floro and i have now propped the little bugger up with a twist tie to see if i can get it to retake after its dark period. Does anyone have any suggestions or input as to whether or not my baby will survive?

i had mine fall onto a mother plant for about 4 minutes before i noticed it ... i bumped it and knocked it down moving some stuff.
the mother was about 18 inches tall and the top 6 inches was in terrible shape. i propped it up as you did with yours but i ended up haveing to cut off the top 6 inches of the mama because it just wouldnt recover .
i wish you the best luck but i wouldnt hold my breath. not only do you have heat damage but damage from the weight of the light falling on it as well . and the shock may cause hermaphrodism even if it does live.
and since its a sprout if you can replace it you may want to before you waste 2 months grow time just to find out you have a hermie
