flood and drain

how many gph is your water pump and what size table do you use ?

so many question
i guess the on time of your pump is to do with the size of the table

i have all my tables set up so in about 10 min water hits the overflow feed for 5 min more than 5 min for water to drain
for 2x4 trays (24''x44'') i use 48 quart (12gal) coleman coolers normaly run 20 to 25 bucks
and run an eco 185 pump 10 bucks
if looking for something larger i run a pair of 2x4 trays (close to a 4x4)
run a 25 gal cooler (igloo is prittty cheep $45) for a res
run an eco 396 pump ($20) from pump run to a T to the inlets on your trays (make bolth inlet hoses Same length)

No stupid Q's. I have my pump on for 15 min then it take about another 5 min to fully drain. Tray is "flooded" for about 20 min.
Your just going to have to play around with pump time and how often. It all depends on how you have your tray filled.
Your plants ( some are thirstier than others) some like stronger nutrients. ect ect
