Flavoring Bud?

So a friend of mine actually brought this up to me and got me wondering about it as well. So they make flavor concentrates for flavoring and scenting things, could these be used in say...a hydroponic system to add flavor to your buds? Or maybe if once you harvest the stalks put them in water with the flavoring for a couple days (like coloring a carnation, but with flavor and weed). Does anyone think this has any merit to work?

I use lemon juice all the time to lower the pH when I add nutes. Hardly noticed it ever altering the taste of the buds. I am sure there are routes you could go around to try and flavor it, but why would you want to? With so many tasty strains around eg, cheese's and bubblegum, why would you want to change the taste?

I mostly want to know if the thought has merit, I'm not saying I personally want to alter the taste, just curiosity

I just use the tasty puffs occassionally to flavor some friends weed that is great but taste like dirt....flavoring is best with vapes IMHO...
