Is anybody else worried that the bright flash might turn your females into hermies? Maybe not......... but why take the chance. I don't like to take chances with my girls, but the lighting from the HPS bulb doesn't make for the best pics.

Any thoughts?

This is an interesting thought....but it is not something I worry about....but then I have always done things just by the seat of my pants....so I'm prolly wrong! walk on!

i turn the light off to take pictures. the important thing to remember is keep the dark period dark! the lights on period is not as important since the plants mark time using the dark period.
