Fish Tanks are very cool.

And they bring auspicious Feng-Shui!

I had some a couple years back.. W/ a Red-Tailed Shark at the top end of the hierchy..
But the tank got ick, and he went crazy and killed all the little fish..

I will get a new tank one of these days, and have it filtered awesomely.

Fish are great to have. Kids love it, its a nice show piece, good science learning, and it brings auspicious energy into the vicinity.

But you need good filtration systems, and they ARE a lot of work. + $$ too

Props to those who have them well maintained

filtration system how about my ebb&flow tray it seems to work 4 me ammonia goes in changes to nitrates, feeds my plants and fresh water comes out fuck expencive filtration devices wasting them nute tomatos and lettuce love to lend a helping hand eco systems have worked like this for mellenia i just scale it down and save on nutes and filters its a win/win sitch

I want to get a beta fish tank. Im just scared of the cost and upkeep.
Little to no upkeep on a beta. My girl has one and it is still alive...that's saying alot.

Here's an updated pic of Red, my Oscar:

I had to remove most of the decorations because his ass is so big.

I don't have one setup right now.. Although i do have a 10,000gallon koi pond I built my parents=)

Here's a few pics of my previous tanks .. I was really heavy into Saltwater but more importantly.. I was into Rare SPS corals.. and I used to grow them out and sel little frags of them and make a tons of cash..

that oscar is huge but he really needs to be in at least a 55g tank so he can swim at least or something longer for him=).. Ive had dozens of oscars over the years their my favorite freshwater fish besides Arrowanna's.. I had a huge one over 2feet long in a 240g tank

Yeah I know man...I was wondering how long it would be until someone called me out on it. My girl brought him home with a 10G tank not knowing what he would turn into. I went and bought that tank for the time being, and now he has outgrown it. Right now my Bearded Dragon is in the 55G, but we are getting a house soon. When that happens I'm going to make something custom for the BD, and put Red in the 55G where he belongs.

Dude I just looked at the last page and you got some serious shit goin there man!!! I wanna get into saltwater aquariums, but my apartment already looks like a fuckin pet store. However when we get our house it's gonna be on!!!

Thanks for the compliments everyone ... I'm one of those people that goes all out I had all high end equip(and some ghetto mixed in) and was always ont he cutting edge of everything in that hobby I am friends with all the big names in the business also so I always knews what was the best shit =)... I really miss my aquariums I sold them all when I got married well fuck that now Im divorced growing my bud and about to start back up a tank=) Im just not sure what size Im going to do this time..

Ernie...yeah a 55 or anything like 4ft or longer.. Built in is even better.. When I get my house I will have a built in 240+gallon aquarium with a full equipment room behind it... and also a grow room in the mix somewhere=)

bamm..raising live rock must have been a lot of work. i used to do salt, but as i grew older and the more lazy i got the fresh water and cichlids won me over. the coolest thing i had in salt water was the green wolf eel..about 16". that fu8ker was cool. he would eat right out of my hand, but looked like he would eat me..friends thought i was crazy for hand feeding him.

the managuense is about 12" now and is being a real dick since i dont feed him goldfish anymore. i have to fix the tank everyday..he likes to move things around looking for the goldfish.

the largest fish i had was a pacu that could barley turn around in the 55g along with a albino tiger oscar not far behind him in size.

yeah I hear that I really dont want to set a tank up till next year because I don't want to setup my ro/di and deal with all the bs...=) since I'll just have to move it all again=)

Very nice setups, and a superb selection of marine life.

Personally, After my 1 eyed Angel Fish died.I gave up fish.(lol)

Here is muh revamped fish tank atm.

Currently have 2 Giant African millipedes that just copulated. Their home is their food. Quite a fun pet to rear:blsmoke:

She's over 14inches long at 2 years old. I'm pretty sure she will be in a world record book:hump:
