fish in the water

Hello I was wondering if anyone had ever tried using fish in a dwc res...I've read a few articles but nothing conclusive science tells me that it could help fertilize and adding nitrogen with waste...I do weekly water changes so buildup I am not worried about and my bucket is 13 gallons with 1 plant so a few goldfish can't even throw my levels off enough to worry about...There cheap too. But before I do I was gonna get some feedback negative or positive from anyone with experience in this matter....thanks

Looks like I just needed to look a little harder there were quite a few threads with good info here and it seems possible but little more for a headache than I am looking for
