i tried this in the spring and it worked great. i found a recipe somewhere online for it, 1 gallon of fish mixed with a cup of sugar and 3-4 gallons of water, it takes 2-3 weeks of stinky ass death rotting rank a stank tho. if your stomach can handle it then yeah i'd say go for it. by farrrrr the best veg fert i've ever used. 1 cup of the fish emulsion to a gallon of water. i barfed a couple times stirring it and straining it.

I can't stop laughing. YOUR going to endure THAT smell for the good of your plants. You know your body is going to hurl several times to get thru this after about a week of simmering? YES, Several organic nuts. have fish em. in them. They smell like death but have some help with other stuff to mask the smell in it. Rock on....to get your body ready for it why don't you take poop and leave it in a dish out in the open of your house...that'll get you ready....

I'm sitting here staring at my bottle of "Alaska Fish Fertilizer" (5-1-1-). It is a "store-bought" fish emulsion. It is very economical and works great as a "tea" to suppliment Nitrogen for vegging!

On the "Down-side" - it smells like shit, so brewing up a batch of this stuff is not my "cup of tea"! I would suggest going down to a "garden store" of some kind and just buying a bottle (your girlfriend will appreciate the effort!).

Skip doing it yourself and just buy a bottle. You need a clean area to make it, and unless you can keep flys and other pest away not worth doing. I can understand it being cheap, but unless there is a fish plant around or butcher shop that will grind it for you, avoid the stench headaches and sore back, go get the pre-made and then smoke a joint! :peace:
