Fish Emulsion

I use to use it but I had trouble with burning. It's very acidic so you need a lot of pH up. I now use cooked bone meal at 6-12-0 and am having a lot better results, with no burning, I use 1 teaspoon of molasses per gallon for potassium.A 4 dollar thing of bone meal can be used for 50 plus gallons of soil! I use 2-3 large tablespoons per gallon

thanks for the info, it said organic and no burning so thats why i got it.
I have bone meal but i didnt think you could add it to water.
whats the purpose of cooking it?
I'm trying to get a cheap easy feeding solution for my ladies. :peace:

I know it says no burning yet I did burn my plants pretty badly even with adjusting the pH the largest dose I fed was 10 ml per gallon. I've seen people get good results but I couldn't figure it out... The pH of the emulsion is around 4 to 4.5. I don't know why they cook it , but uncooked has no nitrogen. I mix it in the soil and also put in 1 tablespoon per gallon of water and shake it up to feed as a tea once a week, some of it is soluble in water. I'm trying to find a cheap fert too and this seems to work well.

Its not a good idea to use fish emulsion in your irrigation system. I am currently trying to find product that dont clog drippers so much. If you have the organic emulsion you still want to supply the plant with complex organic nutrients from another source. ie soil/ fert/

also you need a carbohydrate. ie sweet/ liquid karma etc..

on the plus side stank box wont be so stank next time good luck:spew:

oh ya ... you REALLY need to test ph even if its just with the dropper kits used for testing pools.

had great results, my plants shot up to about a foot or 2 and then were sadly eaten by some foul ass deer, i usually double dose and make the half gallon or gallon of water 10-2-2. only complaint is it smells like rotting pussy

I use the fish fertilizer during veg and it works very well. I just hit them once a week with about 1 teaspoon per gallon of water. Mollasses works very well during flower.
