ok i've made my first attemp to grow outside plants, first time for everything, i had 54 clones that that looked great and healthy, i had prepped the holes i dug (hole the size of a spade shovel deep and wide and wide,) with pro-mix and sheep manure. about a 70/30 mix. it had rained 3 of 4 times before i planted, i then planted them all thinking ok this is going to work , boy was i wrong, after the first night i lost 6 or 7. i thought well maybe they just died, second night i checked and the slugs were like crazy. and killed about 10 more. so i tried the beer bottles scattered around the plants. the next night i went and about 10 more were gone . only the stub was there. im guessing rabbits. or deer. so i sprayed the area with natural animal repellent. and even pissed in some areas. so i go and check after couple more days and the slugs were back and killed more. ive got like 4 or 5 left that look healthy. now i can get 20 more clones, any ideas how to keep these ones from the above??
im thinking of a 3by3 fence around each one, or i bigger fence like 20 by 20 and planting in there. how high would it need to be?? im not planning on cutting the plants, there just going to grow till done. this is my first time ever trying this and so far im failing badly.

I couldn't help but laugh at your story.

First I'd say go get some slug and snail killer, then put down your babies, then chicken wire fencing around them.
