First Try at DWC Suggestions/Directions!?

I'm going to be starting a project in the near future that I will be posting on another username, assuming it goes down. I have 4 sylvania tube fluorescents in the daylight(6500k) spectrum. 40w each. I'm looking to do deep-water-culture in net-pots from the hydro shop with orange clay pellets(i think it's clay?) I'm not using HPS or MH. this will be a ScrOG setup. to begin 2-4 mothers and taking clones off to root and flower. if I'm trying to have a pound or little less a month, having a perpetual mother-clone side by side grow. the current shopping list is: Bio Thrive Grow, BioThrive Bloom, Liquid Karma, Superthrive, durapump air(4 outputs), Air stones(4) $15 mylar, and ph down. now i've been reading more about these nutes and they seem appealing as you don't have to ph your water while using them, so I probably don't have to buy the ph down but I figure better safe than sorry. for seeds I have some chron bagseed but want to buy net seeds. interested in: C4 by chimera seeds, bubbleicious, northern lights, and some other feminized nirvana seeds, for value's sake. I haven't grown hydro before and my last little micro grow was in time release nute soil. I plan to buy red spectrum cfls go closer to branches. I don't know measurements, and I don't feel like what I'm buying is all I need. if anyone wants to help me out, offer some inexpensive and effective nutes. advice on how much water should be in the rubbermaid tubs(small size), where the net pot is placed in correspondece to the water, how often and how to change water etc. how to place the seeds in the net pots. how many clones would I need to reach my goal every month? setup design suggestions? I'm sure there's a tutorial somewhere but THE DWC SECTION HAS NO STICKIES. I cannot find any right now, and am walking into hydro with almost no knowledge. please and thanks.

you cant do enough homework and just be reading that post you need some more reading. Dont be ina hurry and dont expect to be growing a pound every time, you will just frustrate yourself. Be realistic, grow one or two plants before you start for the huge numbers. the more homework you do know will save you more money in the long run.

you will need ph up and ph down when u add the nutes to the water it will lower the ph so you will need to raise the ph you have a long way to go m8 slow down you have little to no chance of getting a pound on ur 1st go and defintly not with the light your gonna be using you will need t least 2 1000w hps to acheive pound and good knowledge of hydro systems

I read a lot on the hydro/aero general forum that had the stickies that should have been here. jesus, i've read 100s maybe 1000s of journals between riu, grasscity, icmag, greenfarmer, hightimes, blah blah blah. I've grown four crops and just had success on the last one in a real try. ck, I can start with 2-6 moms. anyone whose been doing any reading knows that you get as much as you want with enough clones. check out al. b fuct's grow situation on the hydro/aero area. I am not growing in soil, and when it comes to ph I have stated that many people have tested and that the BioThrive line is vegan, organic and does not need to be ph'ed. THIS THREAD IS FOR REVIEWS ON THESE NUTES, NUTE LINE-UP SUGGESTIONS AND REFFERALS TO OTHER GOOD THREADS. I'm not in a hurry to do this, just in a hurry to learn. this project would start about a month from now. wouldn't expect the bud to roll in for about three months. thanks guys.
