Running a Closet Grow

2 - 100watt CFL's Day light
1 - 200watt CFL Warm white

6" exaust fan
4" intake fan

First Image is of the Plant being grown in the window for something to do. large Growth difference once i put it in its own little home

Plant was in the window for 4 weeks befor i put it in there, Its been in the room now for 2 weeks

hey man nice first grow. ur plants are lookin healthy.
i got some tips for ya.
...because cfl's dont get to hot you can put them sort of closed to your plants(the closer the better). i would say you can get you plants an inch or two closer.
if you lower the lights try not to get too much water on you leaves...water can act as a magnifier and burn your leaves

Alrite, Ill move them now, Yeah some water got on the leafs at todays watering, but ill dust em off now, thanks!

np man....cfls have really bad canopy penatration so if you want good results you gotta keep them like 1-3 inches away

Something weird is happening with 2 large fan leaves, They have turned on their sides away from light to allow light to get to 2 smaller droopy leaves under them

Added a new 150watt CFL 2700k to get at the Lower leafs and new node growth, We'll see how it gose

Ive yet to find a cure for that, The room temp is around 75-80F mots of the time, I was told it could be the lack of humidity in the closet, or the plant was over waterd or underwatered, Ive been trying a few things lately to try and cure it..Nothing has changed as of yet... Im going to try watering more, and if that dosent work im going to Mag def

Well, Even at such a height the plant was letting of a Skunk smell of fresh weed, I personally love it, but the wife...yahh...not so much, I went out and picked up a Air Odor Spung, And it seemed to worked almost instantly, If anyone else uses this for a Cure for odor, Let me know...Or let me know of any other solvents

The cupping due to heat stress is slowly coming down, But the battle with my exaust system is not going to well, Im seriously thinking about upping the exaust fan to a 10" one...Worth a shot anyway..Here is some update shots

Im having nothing but problems with this plant, I Cooled the room wayy down, Its usally sitting at 24-26C wich is suppose to be optimum!, The room has a good humidity level and i recently gave it a TINY bit of Nutes wich seemed to burn off the Bottom leaves, I trimmed 4 Large fan leaves that were turning kinda yellow and Drooping down near the bottom.. Figured they were sucking energy from the plant so why keep me. Please help with this probem, Im out of ideas


Plant is about 2 months old alredy, But only half of it spent in the room.

But the room is kept at 70-75 F, It was once at 85-90F abut a week and ahalf ago, But i changed the exaust setup and now its good for temp, But i guess the plant is taking longer to kick back
