First Timer BLUE Dream

I picked up a blue dream clone recently from the local dispensary. I had it by a sunny window for a few days and transplanted her into 5 gal bucket with Foxfarm ocean. I'm in the No cal Bay Area, and the weather is getting warmer. I might bury the bucket in the ground.

Here's a pic of her in my backyard, along with a cinder block bed I built last week. The soil is sandy and I am testing some veggies out this summer.

It's looking a lot better now and loving the weather

I think the recent strong winds toughened her up, the stem got huge!

Thats not a clone, thats a fuckin beautiful teenage girl!!! Lol. If you dont want her to grow tall as fuck over the summer I would say top her, do some LST or start flowering her already.

i got some bluedreams too, they grow like there on roids.. twice as fast as master kush.. id say bury the bucket but it might be fine since its a white 5 gal.. my black plastic ones get super hot..

Definitely dont bury the bucket.. that will make it almost impossible to drain. If you want to put em in the ground then dig a hole 2 ft deep by 1 foot wide and fill it with ur grow medium then transplant the bitch into there.

i was thinking for temp, i didnt see the rectangle grow area pics. if permant bury them like keander said. if gonna grow them for a long like bigger whole fill it up w some good shit

You'll love the Blue Dream!It is a very easy strain to grow.It'll get tall,so watch out! They put out a nice yield too. :cool:

I'm so pissed! I was digging a hole today for transplant, and my 4 year old nephew was out in the back throwing around a stuffed animal in the air. A few minutes later he got quiet and I turn around and the plant was completely SMASHED! (the main stem snapped and few others on top)

I'm going to pick another Blue Dream and start over

I will still update this thread. Time to chill and smoke a phattie.

Use some duct tape.. she should heal.. and even if she doesnt u can still grow from the bottom half. dont give up completely. Any little stems that snapped can be turned into clones if u act quickly

Well after that tragedy, I ended up getting another blue clone the next day. I have had her out for about 5 days now. She's in a 10 gallon grow bag, buried in the ground and next to a pepper and early tomato plant. I put some chicken wire to help protect her from anymore flying objects

yup RIP, waited too long ... I did try to clip a few clones. I had no cloning solution and it was an epic fail. The new one looks healthy and frisky. I hope it's not too late for a decent yield.

Incorrect.. As long as he cuts the bottom out of the bucket it's fine.

Obviously, but he never expressed the intent to do so I assumed he was just gonnna throw it straight into the ground.
