First Time

Hello all,
This is my first time growing and I have a few questions I have had trouble finding answers for. My growing has to be hidden from every one. If my girlfriend finds out I'm Dead!!

My grow Box
36" Wide
16" Deep
53" High. Right now its 28" with shelf in

Lights
3 Cool White 18" T8s 15 watts each 825 Lumens 4100K each
3 Warm White 18" T8s 15 watts each 825 Lumens 4100K each

My questions are:

Will this lighting system work through Flowering?
I was hoping to Flower 2 plants. Would 3 plants be too much?
I used 2 computer case fans to Intake fresh air and exhaust hot air. Is that good enough for ventilation?

Any help would be great...

Hey man, welcome to rollitup!
first thing I would do is get a new girlfriend(no offense towards you or her)...one who smokes and tolerates growing, my wife smokes more than I do and let me tell you, life is SO much easier when you don't have to hide shit from the ones you love,Just my 2 cents, but I digress...

The next thing I'd do is pull down the aluminum foil off the wall and use mylar or paint it flat white.. Aluminum reflects light into what are called "hot spots" and can burn your leafs.

The flouros (warm and cool) will be good for flowering, and you'll definatley get 3 plants, but for that set-up I'd go with several small budding plants...ie. "sea of green" let your clones grow for a week after they root, then shorten to 12/12 and flower those babies, You'll get many single colas producing more bud in a small space. It looks like you could get 15-20 6'' x 6'' square pots, with 12'' finished buds. Your growing you might as well do it right.
The in/out fans should be good with florous, but if you added co2 with a tank or yeast/sugar/water and had an oscilating fan on the tops of the plants,and had a ozone generator on a timer, like on for 15 minutes an hour, you wouldn't need to vent at all.

The girlfriend smokes but does not like the idea of growing.

I have a 4" fan blowing on the plants. Hard to see in the last pic. I put the ventilation in because it was getting HOT w/ the doors shut. Like 110 degrees. W/ the doors open like 82. Hoping the ventilation will keep it cool when I have to shut the doors.

So your telling me to keep the plants in 6" pots and flower them at 12" and grow as many as can fit in the cabinet?

Yes, then if the vents you have don't work get some 4''duct fans. one in one out.

If you grow one of your plants you have already in the bottom space of your cabinet for your mom, and take cuttings every 2 weeks, you'll get clones ready to flower every 2 weeks, they'll be between 5''-7'' by then, put them in your top cabinet and flower them, they'll finish at 12'' inches or so, with 8''-10'' buds. you'll harvest every 2 weeks.

I would second CannaBoss's warning about the girlfriend. I don't know the numbers but i'll bet statistically most busts of home growers are due to loose lips. And i'd bet that a large portion of those loose lips are on ex-girl/boyfriend, husband/wife, etc... seeking revenge.

But to answer your ventilation question - again CannaBoss is on the money. Rounding your dimensions I come up with about 20 square feet of space so a fan rated at 60 CFM or higher can exhaust the room more than 3 times a minute. That should do the trick i think.

I love the Idea of having 15 8" buds..... The plants I have now were just some regs. Wanted to try it out. When I'm done with these plants and I feel confident I can grow, I will order some good seeds. Try to get 15 female plants in there.

I Just found out!!!!!!!!!!! I've Been on 12/12 for a week.....So far I had 1 male and I found Out I have 2 Girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
