first time, without a big budget

I just started growing and well i have a lot of the materials i need besides the expensive stuff. I want to grow outdoors and right now im at the point where the seeds have germinated and im keeping them in a plastic cup that is at least 5 inches tall with Miracle Grow soil and i have watered each cup with un chlorfyed water (letting water sit open without lid for 24 hrs) the only questions i have is. how long to let them sit out in the sun. and how much water precisely i should give them because i have a feeling i put too much and i poked 4 holes in the bottom with a blade but i dont feel enough is draining. Any help will be greatly appreciated

are you doing an outside grow?

seedlings need a 18/6 light/dark or 24hlight schedule to thrive.
water them when the surface of the soil gets dry, not crusty, just dry.

so your saying it needs 18 hours of light a day?

Its doesnt NEED that much, Youd be better off with this, But outdoors should be fine, Just not a quick
