First time window grower Q

Q: I'm a first time grower with 7 seedlings. Hoping to veg 3-4 2' plants under my bed and would like some advice as to what size container would be ideal when it comes time to transplant.

are you going to use soil?
and if so the general rule is one foot per gallon.
hope this helps.

I'm doing hydro right now and I kept mine in their 10cm rockwool cubes and they're a month into veg. If you're doing soil, then follow solar.
