First time outdoors - quick question

Hey all - going to take some of the seeds that grew off my White Widow fem grow (one plant hermed and pollinated the tent) - I know it's not optimal but hey the seeds are free so I thought I'd pop a few and put them outdoors this year.
Question is - after germination I put them in 1g pots to start. I know it's 4-6 weeks or so before I can tell the sex right? Can I keep them in the 1g pots the whole time until I am able to determine sex? I'd like to put them outdoors in 20g pots, but I don't want to waste the soil if they end up being male.

Sure, I've sexed plants in Solo cups. Just take it easy on the feeding. They shouldn't need much anyway.

God I hope you are not my neighbor. Those will probably Herm and pollinate the neighborhood.
