Hey i have been growing indoors for about half a year now with nice results and now i want to do a rather big grow outdoors. I have a good location where i live in the middle of the forest i had to cut down 3 trees to get more sunlight but i think it will be okay, but i made evary thing still look nateral for it attracts no attention.

I dug 2 foot deep holes where i am going to plant just to get all the sticks and rubish out of the way but one of my questions is this...Since im hiding this from my mom i cant really come home with a bunch of bags of soil and i cant drive yet and i tryed looking around my area to see if i can steal some soil from people but no luck so could i use the clean soil i got from the holes i dug? The soil can compact and breaks up when it is poked, it has a brown redish color to it and is sorta like clayish if you know what i mean haha and can be filled in the hole very loosesly for Air can get to the roots, Please tell me what you think about this situation of mine.

You shouldn't grow if your mom says no, and stealing is wrong.

Peace.:peace:
She dosent care but i just dont want to stress her and make her worrie, hell, she lets me grow inside as long as she does not see it. And stealing from rich people is not bad there not even there 3/4 out the the year haha

Take that dirt from your 2 ft hole u dug and try to sneak up to your site some peatmoss, wormcastings and maybe some compost.Amend your soil the best way you can.You mentioned that u had to cut down several trees to get sunlight to your spot.I asuming that your in a wooded area????If that is the case You are standing on what you need.Take a metal rake and scrape off the first couple layers of soil from the surface and use that to amend your soil.Remember CKirk, nobody likes a theif, and what comes around goes around.Dont ever steal anything for your garden, how would you feel if someone were to steal your plantsDo you believe in karma.Good luck w/your project.

you said its clayish soil even if you pack it light it will compact after rain.maybe use coarse sand to keep good drainage.
soil from river banks is usualy good also if you know of any large leaf piles you could take a few shovelfulls from the bottom where its composted that stuff is good.

i hate to jump on the wagon but dont steal man i read an article on here about a guy growing thousands of plants for years and got caught because he was stealing electricity

I know what your tlaking about with the Peet moss, i have tons of it in my woods but when it is racked up its in big clups, do i have to break the moss up into smaller clumps or strait up grind it down

To bad u have no means to a car. Its pretty much essential to own a car if you want to grow outdoors. Im already loathing the treks im gonna have to make from car to grow site, from car to grow site over and over again hauling those heavy fukin dirt bags and gallons of water is gonna SUCK. but im 100% ready for it tho!
