I have just started growing indoor but using the aerogarden and don't like it to much. I have recently had my interest set on growing outdoor, because i have a great place to do it, but i have a few question's. First, instead of vegging indoor then taking it outdoor can I go ahead and germinate the seed then plant them outside and let them grow like that? Second, do I need to add any nutrients to the water that I feed them with(I don't plan on growing a big crop).

yeah, plants can vegetate outside!!! it depends on your climate as to how well they do and the amount of sun light there is during a day is something you need to look into so they dont flower as soon as you put them outside. as for the nutrient question it depends on your soil.if you have good soil then you wont need nutes for awhile but they do help.

Yeah outdoor growing is the best. Its natural, of course it would be. But you do have to worry about scavengers stealing your crop. Also the feds. and bugs. But outdoor will definitly get you the best results. Just make sure you take good care of it. peACE

yeah man, try and plant the little seedlings right before dawn of a warm day in spring. it will help even out the light periods so they dont get confused..yeah.
im growing outside too.

Organic is the best way too gooo

the days are still short where i live and everything i place outside goes into flower. becasue of this my outdoor sproutlings stretch and grow slow not getting enough light. count the hours of daylight you have if its less than twelve sprout anb veg indo.
