first time need help

i just put the seeds between two wet paper towels (thats wut friend said to do)
then tomorrow i will plant them.
i have questions
why wait 9 weeks and do u have to cut the plant then start all over?
why cant you keep the same plant dont they just keep sprouting and u keep picking them

Read these areas first and then you will be better able to ask questions. However, not all seeds germinate (sprout a taproot) in 24 hours. It could take 2-3-4 days before you have a suitable sprout emerge.
