Hi, i was just basically wondering what everyone thought of my plants. I am growing ebb and flow with 50 gallon res using fox farm 3 part. One thing i know is that some of my plants are heavy indica, and some are sativa. I know the sativas are going to outgrow the indica so i have to do something about that. I am wondering, some of the plants seem to have defromed growth. What could that be from. Other than that, i think they are doing good, what do you think?

If your growing sativas and indicas together...the sativas will grow taller and faster then the indicas. ( I'm doing the same thing at the moment...Jack Herrars and Sour Diesel...if I didn't bend them the JHs they would be twice the height of the SDs )

Solution....bend the sativas..fishing line and those little lead fishing weights work good...or just wire or string and any junk you have laying around for the weight...I've used everything from jug caps, old scissors... to my kids GI Joes

This will not only keep the plants at the roughly the same height allowing for even light distibution and allow for more cola formation on the sativas.

Just be careful and don't bend them too much all at once..start slow and allow the plant to take the weight ( the stems/branches will thicken in an effort to support the weight ) and slowly add more weight over the next couple of weeks.

But from your pics you have a ways to go before the height difference becomes an issue...maybe wait until they are a couple feet tall.

You could also top the sativas....but I never do that anymore myself.

And above poster is correct...you don't have enough light to cover all those plants...

Thank you guys for your input. I have a 1000 Watt MH and a light mover that goes the length of the table. I do have another 1000 watt light on the way that i can use, should I? I also have both air cooled hoods, so i can put the light really close to the plants. Just by curiousity, how can you tell phosphorous and light? I really appreciate your help, that was a really fast response!
