First Time Making Canna Oil

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum here and I just had a couple of questions about how to make Canna Oil.

I’m currently making my first batch right now (planning on adding it to some Betty Crocker brownie mix later) and just wanted to know if I was doing it right, or if I'm in for a massive disappointment. There also seems to be a lot of disagreement on the interwebs as to what the correct heat and cooking time for canna oil should be, can someone please clarify as this gets a little confusing to someone who has never tried it before.

Here's what I have so far.... I started with about 7grams of Super Jack Herer, a couple of stems, and I added a little keef to some vegetable oil and put it into a Crockpot. I ground up all the stems and put all the bud/stems/keef into the oil, in the pot, before I started heating everything up. This was all at about 12:30 last night, and the mix has been cooking on the low setting ever since. There's a nice woody/grassy smell in my room and the oil has darkened up a little but not very much. Am I close to finishing? I only started at Midnight and from what I read I cant tell if I have been cooking it long enough or if I'm going to have to leave it on for a little longer than I had planned to.

The recipes I've read have varied in the time they want you to cook the oil. I’ve seen people say they let it sit in the pot for 12 hours, but others say you shouldn’t go past 6, can someone please tell me the correct time, and let me know of some of the indicators to tell when its finished? Also, should I increase the heat or keep it on low?

Thanks Guys

P.S. I’m posting some pictures of what I have as of 6:30 so you guys can get a better idea of what I’m working with
