1) GrandDaddy Purple Clones
2) Growing indoor 1000w mh temps are between 67-83 f
3) 4x a day
4) Hydroton
5) Veg. Day 17

This is my first time growing hydro. I had a ph spike at first and burned them. I did a 2 day flush and I really have seen any progress from the flush. I have quarter strength nutes in right now. Any help is appreciated. Can it be MG?

Yup, also what is the pH of the water, those are the two main culprits behind fertilizer burn, the parts per million being the main culprit.

Its Hydroton yeah its flood n drain Ebb n Gro system. I'm using the Technaflora nutes / Boost, Grow, Magical, thrive alive red, and Sugar Daddy. I was using them really light and flushed the past 2 days. I just added nutes at half strength. Th ph is at 5.5-6. The other day I had really high ph thats why i flushed. I returned my 247 nutriant monitor/ ppm meter to horticulture source. And its taking FOREVER for an exchange.

RO water or sink water? For my dwc I found out even 1/4 in sink water(hard water) was to high at the beginning so I lowered it to 1/8 nut str and it came back to life. It took me 3 weeks to get my baby at full str nutes without a PPM meter at 6ph give or take .5 from the general hydro color ph test kit. Better to start low and work you way up slowly. Also any of those nuts have bio-organisms in them cause for Cutting Edge solutions nutrients their plant amp has some organism in it and it can change the PH giving a false reading so you could be PHing the water when you didnt need to.

Sink water ph'ed i also use chlorine remover

I had the same problem, spent hours trying to figure out what it was as I knew my ppm was good, temp, etc.. One article said its usually your PH, and sure enough it had gotten up around 6.5. I flushed the plant with some RO, got my ph down and within days it was looking good. So sounds like you might have had the same issue. At first I thought that PPM was the most critical thing to watch, but now I realize how important the PH is also.

Oh also had recently changed nutes, it was a sampler pack. Had MagiCal in it which is great for the MG deficiency. Technaflora - came with B.C. boost, grow, awesome blossoms, magical, sugar daddy, thrive, root66. Everything you need from start to finish. Prior I was using a 2 part system and it was really spiking my ph, but doing much better with these new nutes. Its like $28 glad I got it.

One more thing, have you changed your reservoir? Should every week or 2 and since you don't have your meter right now, at least you will know you should be close in range by starting fresh.

Not directly related, but since you are new to this heres some other things I have learned. I keep my air temp closer to 75, 83 sounds kinda high. And hows your humidity? And def check your water temp - you dont want that above 75. The few times that mine went above 75, I just threw in the frozen water bottles and it did the trick.
