First time hydro

Ok, so I am going to make a hydroponic system out of a 10 gallon fish tank. I need help with what kind of lights (I would prefer to use LEDs), type of nutrients, what the ph level should be(I have a aquarium ph test kit, it should work), and how to trim or prune the plants, and any other info I may need. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
