hello,
i have a couple of plants growing. i believe they are a bit over 3 months in the vego stage. one is quite a bit smaller then the others.
trying to get the little one to catch up, and wondering how to get them into the flowering stage as they are getting quite large.
this is my first time growing and would appreciate any advice.
thank you!

Welcome to the forum!! The onset of flowering is done by photoperiodicy, a big term easier explained than defined. I'm assuming these are outdoor plants and you live somewhere in the deep south, considering it's winter. When the plants get 12 hours or less of sunlight a day it triggers hormones in the plant that the end of it's life is coming and it's time to reproduce. It begins to put out flowers (buds), hoping to catch pollen from a neighboring male cannabis plant. I think you need to upcan your plants to larger containers; no doubt they are totally rootbound.

hey, thanks alot. the plants are growing outdoors, growing under a porch. they get moved into direct sun for part of the day. im from australia so we are currently in spring. also how often should i fertilise? and what is best for them.
thanks for the help

If ya'll are in spring then you have a long time to grow ;)
Most outdoor plants are usually done around the fall.
At least here they are. Dunno about Australia climates tho.

Right now a high nitrogen fertilizer would be good, while they are in the veg stage.
Some mexican bat guano and earthworm castings would be good to use. molasses, alfalfa, kelp.

Dolamic gave good advice about the fertilizer but your answer raises another concern; plants do not like to be moved. They need to be in a place where they don't have to be moved.
