First time growing want to get it right

I went out and bought a hps light set up it is a 600w. I put it in my grow tent and with in two hours all my fan leaves started to shrivel up and die just the big one. I open my tent to vent out some of the heat. The rest of the plant is good( I mean it still looks healthy) just fan leaves are dieing is this normal? Oh yeah I am using tecnaforal nutirents bc boost, bc bloom, thrive alive red, sugar daddy, magical, and awesome blossom. In the recommended amount according to the chart. The plant is a Pure Power Plant I got the fem seeds from a seed bank. I was using floro's at first for the flowering stage and people on here told me to get a hps.. So plz help I don't want my plant to die plus I have three little ones in veg right now one Royal Hash, and two more PPP so I want to make sure I am doing this right.
Here are 2 pics of what its doing the day after switching the lights...
The temp has gotten up to 89 degrees.

You need your tent to be very well vented with an 600W HPS light...

I only grom in soil so it may be an hydro issue, but seems to be like it is too hot and not well ventilated enough!

Good luck

I put it in flowering when it was 13 inches tall, but for the first 4 weeks I had it under 32 watt floro's and it stop growing I came on here a I was told I needed 600 watt hps for the plant so I got one

Okay now that I fixed the heat do any one think my plant is going to die or if not does losing it's fan leaves going to hinder plant at this piont

if your water temp was over 70 for long you need to check for root rot. They will be brown slimmy and break off easy. if you didnt get that you should be ok

and if you can't control the temperature of the water I'd recommend igloo coolers as a res. and If you can't control room temps I'd recommend co2, also you're using full strength nutrient (which I'm not totally against depending on the nutrients) but could be leading to nutrient burn.

As powerslide said, check for root rot first, if that checks out OK, you need to make sure you have air movement around the lady. Its not so much keeping the heat out as making sure the air around the plant is moving too. Stale air will choke the leaves, and more heat/light stales the air quicker. If you havent already I would make sure you have plenty of air flow around the entire chamber and no root rot.

you can drop frozen gallon jugs in the res couple times a day to help keep it cool.

Just a suggestion get rid of all the diff jugs of super crap. Grab some moon dust and a jug of dyna-gro bloom nutes. My opinion everyone spends too much on nutes. i use Moon solely until flower then slowly phase it out. i keep a little for the N right up until the last week.
